Confidence is essential in manifesting our gifts, talents, and abilities.

"Cast not away therefore your CONFIDENCE, which hath great recompence of reward" (Hebrews 10:35 KJV).

"The LORD is my light and my salvation-whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life-of whom shall I be afraid?
"Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then will I be CONFIDENT," (Psalm 27: 1,3 NKJV).

Confidence is what makes you able to take a step of faith. The Word of God produces confidence.

Be willing to do the impossible. Dare to defy convention. To make a difference, you may need to be different. And courage gives you the stamina to do it! Courage is a byproduct of a deep-rooted understanding. It is embracing knowledge in the arena that you find yourself.  It is defying the odds by abstracting one's attention from the obstacle, while absorbing oneself into the possibility.

"Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I swore unto their fathers to give them." (Joshua 1:6 KJV).

"And from thence we fetched a compass, and came to Rhegium: and after one day the south wind blew, and we came the next day to Puteoli:
"Where we found brethren, and were desired to tarry with them seven days: and so we went toward Rome.
"And from thence, when the brethren heard of us, they came to meet us as far as Appiiforum, and The three taverns: whom when Paul saw, he thanked God, and took courage."

"I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
"Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD." (Psalm 27:13,14 KJV).

Courage is an element of distinction. It is what makes the ordinary distinguished. It separates the men from the boys. It is the element that makes an individual live forever in the minds of future generations.
