God is a master at defying convention.   And that is one of the reasons serving Him becomes exciting.    God has a keen interest in your affairs.  He is enthusiastic about you.  It is time you become enthusiastic about Him.    When we become enthusiastic, the world will take notice.  
A story is told of an unbeliever who would not step into a church.   One day the church building was up in flames.   The pastor of the church spotted this skeptic in the crowd and asked,  “how come we never saw you in church?”   Then the shocking response came:  “I decided I will never come to church until I see it on fire!”  Enthusiasm is the fire that shows others you are spiritually alive.

"Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord…."  (Romans 12:11 KJV).

"Rejoice evermore."  (1st Thessalonians 5:16 KJV).

"Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice."   (Philippians 4:4 KJV).

Let enthusiasm envelop everything you do.
